LEARNING GOALS
In this explorative study, participants explore and learn from different indigenous ethic groups in the peaceful Himalayan mountains, lush middle hills and wild southern jungles of Nepal.
By studying intercultural and cross-cultural understadning in both the micro (personal) and macro (society) sphare, we discover the ancient philosphical, historical and cultural practices in the Himalayas that has lead to peaceful, inclusive and virbant coexsistance cross cultural, ethnic and laguage barriers.
This program is mostly spent in remote areas and off the beaten track, living simply and learning together with others. We practice ancient traditions, take part in festivals and join community driven sustainability projects.
Integrating this learning with a base of understanding the cultural history and modern challenges of Nepal, the student will get a rare insight into the connection between culture, nature and development.
Coupled with gaining experience in the field, this program also focus on personal development, team work, communication, problem solving skills and knowledge exchange.
Our programs are designed for participants to gain knowledge, insight, experience and personal growth.
We also work closely with educational institution to integrate subject from the participants' current studies to make meaningful connection between academic studies and real life.
