Through this 14 day course students will build a solid platform of knowledge and practical experience of planning and executing an expedition. This includes participating in all aspects of the operations from team mangement, safety consideration to setting camp and outdoor cooking.
Participants gain knowledge of the different roles and responsibilities on an expedition and how to integrate sustainability in their decision making process.
The experience will take us into the wilderness and enable participants to go beyond their comfort zones, paddling some of the world's best white water.
The partcipants will also develop personally, empowering them to continue pushing boundaries, in their personal and professional lives.
The course have a mix of learning by doing and more traditional sit-down classroom settings – but in the outdoors. Reflection is another key element to the pedagogy, which will enable the students to grasp what they are learning and its implementations in their future.
